Is there a Video Card available today that can allow my G4 Cube 500, now with 1.5 GB memory to drive one of the new HD 23" Displays? I would really like to get some way to.

The Cube had an ADC out port on it, so it depends on which model you have. If you have the model with nVida GeForce 2, you can run the Cinema 23", if you have the Rage 128 model, then you can't. The graphics card is non-upgradeable too.

If you do have the GeForce 2 card, make sure you are running OS X.1.3 or later, or 9.2.2

Well, technically it is upgradeable, assuming you can find another mac compatible AGP card to fit inside there. Will the AGP Radeon not drive the 23" display?

Thank you all! It is a bit frustrating to think that I'd have to fashion my own bracket to mount a card, but at least there are folks thinking the same way I am. It would be nice to run an HD cinema display without having to buy a PowerMac tower...

I have a 500 G4 Cube with the fan-cooled card (i.e. no longer silent) . That is the one I want to explore upgrading. The first is loaded with 1.5 GB of RAM, and has the 32 MB Video memory with the 1 MB backside cache of its era. It is now running under OS X 1.4. System Profiler describes it as ATV,Rage6ag

I also have a 450 super-quiet simple Cube. That one is at school and still stops any visitors to my office in their tracks, even with only a 15" Studio flat panel.
