Question for applescript experts...

We ran into a problem that I hope my friends here can help me with. We created about 400 Excel files with embedded graphics, and our customer has told us the TIFF files are too faint when displayed on screen. We have the graphics available as CGMs and they look a lot better, they never should have made them TIFFs. Anyway, is there a way through applescript to open an excel file, remove the tiff graphic, and replace it with the same-name CGM? Example: open file, remove graphic 25-1.tif and replace with 25-1.cgm and save file? I have never worked with applescript so I am clueless.

Thanks in advance!
