Nice article on Steve Jobs in Forbes
Quote:
Steve Jobs never wrote down the rule, but no eyeballing was the law of the land at Apple during his day. Americans, and Californians in particular, have an independent streak. Caught in the elevator with Jobs, and the natural instinct would be to look him in the eye and say, “Hi, Steve.” But your natural instinct would be wrong, and he would respond with something like, “What did you do when you worked here?”

Sounds like a really nice guy. I understand he was a great leader, but that doesn't excuse him from being a miserable human being.
