itunes error in itunes 1.1

i keep getting an unknown error when i attempt to burn a CD in iTunes....it doesn't matter if i switch CPUs, i just can't burn...does any one know what to do?

    Yea, update iTunes. It may have something to do with an older version of authoring support.

    I'm using an Apple CD-RW drive in an old iMac....were there any problems with those old drives?

    Which old drives are you talking about? And what OS are you on?

    i'm talking a Summer 2001 snow iMac.....OS 9.2.2. i tried updating iTunes and it didn't work...found out i had Windows-only CD-Rs...funny, they didn't mention that on the box. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />
