Booting from Firewire CD

I have done some looking around and I cant seem to turn up any answers as to how I get my G4 Powerbook to boot from my USB/Firewire Lacie CDRW.



I have mounted it with a bootable CD and set it as the startup disk, and it doesnt boot from it, and doing an option-boot doesnt show it as a boot option.



Any help would be much appreciated !
