Tab key covered under warranty?

Whilst cleaning some stray hairs out of my iBook's keyboard yesterday, the tab key decided to pop off. I tried to snap it back on, but it seems that one of the tiny little pegs on the underlying scissor mechanism has snapped.

My iBook is still under warranty, but will Apple cover such a trivial problem?

Opinions on whether a call to Apple Canada is worth my trouble would be appreciated.

I don't see why you shouldn't call, the worst that could happen is that they would say no. is sitting on hold for 10 minutes really a lot of trouble?
