PB G3 Screen not waking after sleep!

Hi,



It's that old problem again. It's just come back to haunt me with a vengence this time. When my PowerBook G3 Wallstreet goes to sleep, on waking the LCD backlight fails to illuminate. I can see the screen under certain lighting conditions to know that the computer is working. I just press the power button and Return to shutdown.



I'm just very frustrated because this happens every time, not just occassionally as I've experienced in the past.



Using OS X 10.1.4



Any thoughts?

    well, this happened to me, so i just shut down now, yet, i do not know what is causing this, Sometimes it does come on>

    Hmm, mine doesn't have this problem, but a different one. In the past (I don't know if it's still a problem) it's hung up whenever I wake it from sleep. I don't think it's a problem anymore. Also, it takes a really long time for the screen to turn on when I start up the computer.

    It's only happened to me twice, so I'm not sure what the problem could be.
