TroubleShooting (keep this thread alive)
It's Strange that once you know that someone knows and has had your same problem that you tend not to worry about it as much as you did. That is what this Thread is for. Just post if you have or have had a problem that was unsual and the solution. This may very well turn into a very helpful thread.
1. I closed my power book and left it there and 1Hour later i came and opened it and found out that it hadn't gone to sleep. The machine had frozen and it was as hot as if it had been doing a lot of work, i restarted it and the HD wouldn't mount.
First Step i took was that i rebooted from a CD and tried to use disc first aid. That didn't help.
Second Step i took was the repair CD that comes with apple protection plan, didn't work.
By the third step i was kind of worried, so i used the ultimate resource, Tech tool Pro. It worked, so now i use my computer as normal as ever. i don't know why my computer didn't sleep when i closed it but that is why this thread is here.
