Help Needed With Miracle Piano
I am having some trouble using a Miracle Piano and hope someone who has gone through this pain can help me.
1) Hooking up to a 7500 with 72 Megs RAM, System 8.0.
2) Going from MIDI in/out to a MacMIDI box.
3) Using OMS, I can record MIDI signals to another program, and they are played back through the keyboard correctly. (So I know the keyboard, the MIDI cables, the convertor box, and serial cable all work)
4) When opening Miracle 1.3.5 software, the MIDI light flashes, (as the keyboard is supposed to play the "miracle theme")but no music plays. In the SW, the MIDI light flashes during lessons, but SW never gets signal. (Always says "you were supposed to play")
5) Going to "About Miracle Software" shows "No Keyboard Connected".
I have also tried the same setup with an LC III, a computer around at the time of the Miracle's production. Same problem. I have tried using a regular modem cable in place of the "miracle cable" that would have come with the system, and measured voltage on what I think are the right pins, still no luck. (I did this because I don't have the original manual, or cables, as I just bought it, used.)
