Modem Error

Ok, I *may* have found the problem possibly, but I don't see how it would cause a program. I installed BitchX, so I enabled Identd so I can connect to irc servers. But, around that time I got modem errors when I have been dial up to either one of my ISP's. It happens about 50% of the time. I just can't seem to pin point the problem. Anyone have any ideas?



P.S. My modem settings are set in correctly, the actual script hasn't been tampered with.

    What exactly are the modem errors you mention?

    Thats another things, The error is so vague, thats why I can't pinpoint it



    "A modem error occured, please verify your settings and try again"
