Deleting Users - Please help
Hi All,
I'm using OS X 10.1.4 on a TiPB 500
I often create new users when i want to let someone ftp to my machine. Once I'm done working with that person ( let's say his name is Josh). I go to the "Users" System Preference Pane and delete Josh as a user. It then renames the "Josh" Directory as "Josh Deleted."
But since I'm done with Josh, I don't want a directory in my Users folder called "Josh Deleted" but when I try and trash it I get a dialog box saying that this directory "Josh Deleted" canot be deleted.
What gives?
Thanks for any help

you can create a guest-user.
that way you don't have to delete users all the time

i never did this, but try loging in as root and deleting the josh-user.
good luck!
Deleting via terminal worked... but how do i create a guest user? I don't see that option in the Users preference pane.

I think you do the following:
Create a new user called "guest"
Make sure the user is not an administrator and make sure there is no password.
Any other suggestions to add?
