HELP!: Classic Problem.

I have been using OS X since a week after I got my machine. The only problem is, I got one of those free Earthlink Alaris wee cams, and the software only works in OS 9. The app doesn't recognize the cam in classic mode in OS X, so I thought I would just boot back into OS 9. Well, that was all well and fine until like 5 seconds in when the OS just freezes. I have tried everything, reinstalling OS 9.2, getting rid of all start up things. Nothing works. I have a QuickSilver G4/733. Thanks for any help!

    did you disconnect that wee cam thing?

    if you did a clean install of os 9.x it should be running.
