Copper Plates for Cube ::

Does anyone happen to know where I could buy copper plates.......



with these dimensions:::



25mm x 25mm x 2mm

25mm x 25mm x 3mm



i'm using them as step-up plates [between the processor & heatsink] on a g4 cube doing a dual processor upgrade/mod.........

    Your best bet is MSC Direct, an industrial supply company that sells just about anything you could imagine.     It is seriously doubtful that they will have exactly the size you require, I recommend finding someone with a metal cutting saw.

    i'm really wanting the copper plates, but @ the same time....... i might just get the aluminum plates [pre-cut] but they don't handle heat as good as copper.....

    Why not just wait for the new Powerlogix upgrade cards instead, I saw that dual-proc cube conv. on xlr8yourmac and it looked very messy and fiddly. Still, they wont be doing a dual-proc card so ..... why the hell not!!
