I need to print to an old serial (null-modem) printer using a modern (USB) Mac. All the logistics are worked out, but I have one final purchasing desicion: I need to find out which USB-Serial adapter works the best in OS 9?

Which one is best?

KeySpan?

Palm?

Belkin?

Other 3rd parties?

Thanks!

I've been going through somewhat the same dilema but I'm more concerned with OSX.

You may be interested as you may switch to X down the road.

Belkin seem to be not as Mac centric and seem to be slower in updating their drivers to X.

I've heard good things about Keyspan and their website seem to indicate OSX support.

However, I've bypassed all and am going through an ethernet hub just to avoid software problems and compatability.
