OS X Finder views not sticking...

Anyone help me here -



Running 10.1.5, and recently the Finder views in the main window, Applications and Applications (Mac OS9) don't stick between restarts. Tried trashing com.apple.finder.plist and ran Apple's Repair Privileges app' to no effect. What's odd is that all the sub-folders DO keep their display settings



Any ideas anyone ?

This seems to be the same in all pre-10.2 releases. Jaguar should fix this problem.
