    in europe a thing like that module is up to 500 $ ... starting from somthing like 300 $ .. :-/

    Do you mean U.S. dollars though? You have to account for exchange rates if you're talking about Euros or such.

    why not check <a href="http://www.ramseeker.com"; target="_blank">www.ramseeker.com</a> for better prices? i've noticed 512mb modules for as low as $128. hth.

    Yeah, and I've read lots of posts on this forum where the problem is traced back to bad/incompatible RAM. I bet 99% of these are from buying the cheapest RAM they can find. I say shell out a couple extra bucks for a good name brand, such as Kingston or Viking. And remember that firmware update last year that made a ton of RAM stop working?
