QT 6 and a broken plugin icon

and it's driving me 
I downstalled 6, paid the 30 bucks, & now can't download movies because the plugin icon's broken (wasn't a problem before).
IE, Mozilla, and Netscape 4.79, the result's the same-broken icon. Have OS 9.1 on a PB 2400. Argh! Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
