Newsgroups via Mail

Anyone know how I can receive newsgroups using OS X's Mail?

    you can't.



    look on versiontracker for "Halime" ... it's a little buggy (crashes occasionally), but better than running classic.

    You can also get MT Newswatcher (free) or Thoth (small fee)

    So what are the settings on the 'Web' tab of the Internet preference pane for if OS X/Mail can't access newsgroups?

    Well, the "WEB" tab lets you set your default browser and home page and such.... you might have meant the "NEWS" tab ... perhaps this indicates some future feature from Apple ? ... though I've heard nothing about the ability to read newsgroups in Jaguar (except through these third party apps).
