Harddrive crash possibly. The OS is embedded and not on the harddrive (I think). Also, maybe you accidentally formatted it?

well it's 5GB from my home computer. I am in CA. Home computer is in NYC. Just have my powerbook with me. so just syncing only gives me all the music I have bought out here so far.

Now I'm transfering my music collection from home to here
