ipod and MPEG-4 AAC

Now that MPEG-4 audio licensing has been agreed upon, do you think we will see AAC incorporated into ipod / itunes software any time soon?



The idea of higher quality compression and lower data rates might just get me to buy an ipod. I've been waiting, trying to justify it.

    OF course that will happen.All they need to do is issue an update to tell the iPod how decompress it and play it. Much like all the other non-MP3 formats avaliable to play on the iPod :cool: <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
