i know everyone says you can unstick a pixel by gently massaging it with a soft cloth. my question is, has anyone here ever done it themselves?

just wondering. got a stuck pixel i'd like to get unstuck, but i can't seem to do it. i've tried on other LCD's before with no luck. anyone out there personally succeed? if so, what exactly did you do?

I managed to unstick a dead pixel on my iMac G4. I gently massaged the pixel with the tip of my finger while it was still switched on. Use smal circular motions (think using a keyboard "nipple" or clitoral stimulation) to gently bring it back to life.

This method is only succesful in some cases, it's possible that some pixels are just lazy rather than dead.

Ok, I don't think it will do the LCD any good but it might give you a cheap thrill
