I have a B&W G3 400 with no AGP slot. So... here are my options:

1) Buy PCI Radeon 7000

2) Buy PCI Radeon 9000 when they're available.

3) Flash a CP Nvidia or ATI card (and if so, which one!?!)

4) Buy a new Computer (Let's say I don't want to spend more than 1G.)

Suggestions are greatly appreciated and shall b rewarded in a following life.

I would seriously consider buying a new computer in your situation...

If you need immediate grattification or for whatever reason just need a video card now, then stick with a low budget card and flash a pc version if possible if you can find a good deal on pricewatch.com

Your processor won't be able to supply enough data to most cards so it would be rather pointless to get too high end a card.

I had a similar style problem and needed to decide whether or not to purchase a new computer. IT may in be the case for you to make the move to purchase a new mac or perhaps a refurbished or second hand product. I suggest this becuase buying a PCI graphics card or other periphirals is essentially a waste of money. It would be more economical to get a new(er) computer... Emacs start at $900 in US and g4 iMacs for 1300
