What application opens .exe files on Mac OSX?

none. .exe are windows program files, they can't be run on macs.
sorry.
'course this means that you don't get viruses, so there's some benefit.

your forgetting Virtual PC. it emulates a wintel computer within your mac, and from w/i it, you can run *.exe (windows executable) files.
