Will apple boost bus speeds?

Apples are already the fastest thing out there with a G4. A G5 wouldn't do that much better without improved bus speeds. Has anyone heard anything about this? What are your thoughts?

    There's a lot of discussion about bus speeds and architectures in the various threads about the G5.
