print with Epson 890 in OS X

Help



I can't get my iMac to print in OS X with my Epson 890 stylus photo. It will work occasionally but usually just fails. I keep having to switch to OS 9 to get the printer working. I currently run 10.1.2 but understand from Apple's message boards that this is happening to others in 10.1.5 too.



Does anyone know a fix or is it just that OS X has yet to provide reliable printing?!

    I've much the same problem but I'm putting it down to Epson's drivers as much as OSX.

    upgrade to 10.1.5

    I tried the upgrade ans resetting permissions but this does not work. A reboot does tend to work for a brief spell.



    Is there anything more that can be done?

    Try opening your print center.

    Is your printer in the que?



    Is the que stopped?



    I have had trouble with an Epson c60. Sometimes print jobs get stuck in there for some reason, and the que stops. You have to click on "que" and "start que" if this happens.
