IE Links stopped working

Had this problem for a while and nobody in the Macfixit forums has offered a solution, so let's see if I have any better luck here?Using OS X 1.1.5 and IE 5.2 and for some reasons I can no longer click on links in an email or anywhere else for that matter, and get to the site I want to navigate to. All that happens is the IE icon in the doc bounces, the IE startup initiates (even when it's already running) then it quits. This problem happens at home on my G4/450, but don't have the problem on my iMac SE Graphite at work. Help me out here?please. Tried trashing the IE prefs, but no luck. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Is IE set as your default browser in the "Internet" preference panel? Have you tried reinstalling IE?

    You didn't mention which email program you were using. I know Eudora in X opened IE but didn't open the link properly. I think there's a fix on the Eudora website.
