Is there a way to boot from ODD sata ports in '08 MP?

I have been reading about a bunch of ways to address using the two extra sata ports and booting into Win7. But all I have two Bluray DVD drives on these ports and I can't boot from a DVD. The mac by default doesn't see them before starting the OS.



What is the best and easiest way to config the system to do this?
