iPhoto '11 Slideshow Fails on rotated display.
OS X Lion includes build in rotation controls for displays. I am currently using an external 1080p monitor, and I want to run a slideshow on the screen in vertical orientation.
It doesn't work. The slideshow won't start. The screen flashes and the slideshow stops before it starts.
I tried it on my MacBook Pro's built-in screen, with rotation also active. It also failed, which leads me to believe it's an incompatibility with Lion's screen rotation feature, and not with my particular monitor.
Any ideas? Is this a known issue?

I am having the exact same problem. Iphoto 11, on Lion, rotated display. The slideshow quits everytime.
I made a search on the apple knowledge base documentation I think this is a common problem with iPhoto

The resolution given here says you need to quit and restart your application for it to work but I don't think it will work either. You can give it a try if you wish.
