Is there a driver or 2rd party software that will make the DesignJet work with OS X? The current driver won't work and It won't work is Classic. I've rebooted into 9, but that was buggy as well. Anybody?

    Have you tried gimp-print?

    According to the <a href="http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/p_Supported_Printers.php3"; target="_blank">supported printers list</a>:

OK, tried Gimp-Print and it doesn't work. I posted the same problem on their board and it sounds like it doesn't work yet with the HP Designjet 500PS at all.

    Any other ideas? Thank you.

    this might help you too...

(it can be a little dated -- it's almost a year old -- but the technique should still be valid).

also, i don't know if this is possible for you, but you may want to try panther. it has been able to pull off printing out of applications and to various output devices that jaguar never could.
