iPhoto help please

When trying to drag some photos into iPhoto that were emailed to me, i get an error message that it is an unrecognizable file type. They are JPEG from a fuji digital camera so they should work. Any thoughts?

    Just off the top of my head I'd run them through Graphic Converter and save them again as JPEGS. I had this problem with pics straight from my Epson Photo PC800 and that cured it.

    Try converting them into Jpeg2000. That's compatible with iPhoto.

    Where would I find the Graphic Converter or save it as JPEG2000?
