Does a php - Forum work on a server that has os 9?
I know that a php forum requires mysql...
A friend has a server that runs os 9.
And he wants to host a php forum in it.
Should I just give him the link to <a href="http://www.php.net"; target="_blank">www.php.net</a> and <a href="http://www.mysql.com"; target="_blank">www.mysql.com</a> and ask him to find out himself whether it works or not?
I have unluckily personally no idea how php will work or behave on os 9 ... because the server I have dealed with runs Linux.
Does anybody have experiences of installing and running a php forum on os 9?
What else than mysql will he need?

In all honesty if your friend is running a server on OS 9, I would recommend migrating to OS X.
