a little ezboard question...

okay as some of you may be aware i have started an MB on ezboard...

to cut a long story short, does any one know how to do moving text?

i.e. one that moves from one side of the screen to the other...??

    You could try a Java applet: I think there are some customisable freebies out there. However, you'd have to enable HTML (thereby disabling EzCodes) to get it in there.

    well it aint really in a post no, its a bit of news which appears on the top of the page, i think there it is summot similar to posting a link where it is [link]text here[ /link] if u get me

    Why EZboard?? IMHO it's one of the worsts.

    Even more popups and else than in Bravenet.



    Can't u host a php??

    Leviathan, I get you... I think it's still going to be Java applet, though you could do it the long way round as an animated gif or Flash movie.



    Mulattabianca, you shouldn't be hanging out on those cheap-ass EzBoards: Gold Communities get no pop-ups.

    I never use EZboard Overhope...



    I wanted to put a small quick php something-between-a-bb-and-a-forum-.. so like all those lovely japanese bbs

    well i'm using ezboard as a launchpad for bigger things hopefully

    is there not just a linky thing like

    [scroll]text in here [/scroll]

    or something

    Not that I've come across in my adventures around there.



    Oh, and the next version of their software is going to clamp down on executables (seems some naughty people have been breaking boards in there) so it may well be a lost cause...
