finder keeps relaunching itself

i finally installed jaguar on the weekend.. twice since doing so, the finder has relaunched itself every few seconds.. restart the computer and all returns to normal.. :confused:



another slightly less annoying problem is that whenever i turn the computer on, the CD drive bay opens on its own, as if the computer is searching for a start up disk.. :confused:



any solutions?!

    The CD door could be a problem with a USB device.
