how come this opens the OS 9 version of stickies and not the os X version?

freaking annoying....

    Huh? It's never done that for me. Have you tried trashing the OS 9 version and seeing what happens?

    while im bitching, why doesnt iChat have the ability to drag to thedesktop to make a clipping of something instead of me beign forced to use make a new sticky(I know im a lazy shit... c/p works just as well )

    I think it's cocoa. The only reason I say that is because services have worked from within stickies since before they were enabled in carbon apps. And, yes, you should just get rid of the old stickies. The new one is so much better.

    And, yes, you should delete the old Stickies unless you plan on rebooting into OS9 to use it.
