who is using a HP laserjet 5MP with a usb G4 computer??

we have a hp laserjet 5mp printer at work hooked up to a older G3 tower running 9.2....we are replacing the tower with a new iMac 17"lcd G4....we had the printer connected to the tower with a serial cable....what cable do i need or how do i connect this laserjet to the iMac....serial to usb adapter? parallel to usb cable???? any help is greatly appreciated as the HP site is NO HELP what-so-ever....g

    i have been told that parallel to usb cables won't work...is this true??? g

    parallel-to-USB should work.

    ok, thanks, i'll try that first as it seems the cheapest route...g
