Another iDVD question....
Hi all,
I have a 40 minute home movie created and edited in iMovie. At the end I chose the option 'export to iDVD' and created a file c7GB in size.
In iDVD I imported it, and went to burn. It kicked off by saying it needed 151 minutes, and so I went to bed. In the morning, 8 hours later it was still trying to finish. No sound from the disc drive could be heard.
I'm running a flat panel iMac, 800Mz.
Do I need to re-install iDVD? ANy other tweaks? No other software was running at the time.
Thanks for any help,
David

when you burned your movies, how long did the Mac take to prepare it for burning, and how long the actual burn?
Thanks,
David
I think it was the monitor sleep that was causing problems (why oh why should that be the case?).
But it triggered another question - I was thinking of deleting iDVD and reinstalling it from the disks I received with the iMac. But when I started to have a look at it, it seems as though you don't have the option to select only bits of software - it's all or nothing. And worryingly it talks about deleting everything on the hard disk, not just the application software.
Is that correct? Is there a way of re-installinmg only a little of what I want?
Cheers!
David
