Ok i had a look on sherlock's internet search.

is sucks.

i dont want to use any of those crappy search engnies that i see in it. and i see no google -at least with the italian settings. and as i can't find a way to add google in it and unabilitate all those crappy staff - i hate lycos, virgilio etc etc .. so tell me someone how i can disabilitate all those "in built" stuff and substitute them with gooooogle and ubbi.

if i can't find a way to do that... i'll just say crappy sherlock

no lycos plz...

You'll have to write a new plugin for it.

On that note, are the APIs for the new Sherlock available yet? I haven't bothered to look around for them lately.

Whoa. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> I know English may not be your native language, but you just totally lost me on that last post.

Please, settle down. It's not the end of the world just because you can't search Google from Sherlock. You can search through a browser just as easily as you can Sherlock. After all, Google doesn't even have banners or pop-up ads on its site!

Alternatively, you could download and try the app <a href="http://www.karelia.com/watson/?src=_vt"; target="_blank">Watson</a>. Many people have found it to be a very pleasant alternative or supplement to Sherlock.

... well it's not defnitelly the end of the world i cant google in sherlock (without plugins etc) .. so i had always of course searched on the browsers.. (with the opera as most comfortable = already the space for googling) ... but well. had a look on sherlock then. i think it's a stupid utility to search in lycos etc etc .. on the earch sites i don't ever use. it looked too incredible they didnt have google in there.

and besids.. when i look for somethingi n web i havent ever thought even to go to sherlock what i need. typing " g " brings me already in google..

but i'll have a look on those plugins

Dude, all sherlock search engine stuff is plugins. So disable Lycos, Alta Vista. etc, and download and enable google.

    Do it now!!!

I cannot figure out how to load this into the new version of sherlock that comes with 10.2. Any hints on this?
