Function keys (brightness, volume) on Ti-800 not responding!

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? After a few hours (sometimes minutes) of uptime -- web-surfing, Quicktime, Word -- the brightness, volume, eject half-sized function keys on my Powerbook-800 DVI do not respond. This is a daily occurrence until I restart.



I haven't called tech support yet, but my fear is that because of the intermittence of the problem, the techies are going to have a tough time troubleshooting it -- that's why I'm hoping this is a widespread problem that's already got a solution.

    I know in OS 9 there is an option in the keyboard control panel to dissable the "Hot function" keys (Brightness, sound) and uses them as normal keys.
