win/mac network... more issues.

Thanks the the genius below... i can now see my ibook on my pc. i was able to see shared pc folders on my mac before.



here's a new problem for ya...



I have a Firewire drive hooked up to my ibook.

how do i access that drive? or any partition of my ibook's internal HD?

    I *think* this is unavailable through basic filesharing. I believe that checking off File Sharing or Windows File Sharing in the Systems Preferences only makes the Public folders available.



    Apple says the work around is to log in as admin from the client computer:
