Stuffit 7 quits before unStuff'ing

The App will launch, and asks where to unstuff the file. But when it tries to actually unstuff the file it quits. Seems to work ok in Root.

do you have it set to unstuff the files into a folder you don't have permissions for by default?



try changing the location to something you know you have access to.

Brad, thanks for you advice. What can I say, I like to live dangerously.



Anyway, I reinstalled the software, deleted the old version, ran disk utility to fix permissions, and still no cigar. Seems like I?m missing a file. Most likely a corrupted file somewhere, but where?

what do you have the permissions set to on the folder that it's expanding to?

Nah, that's not the problem. It's going to my desktop. I tried other places, other partitions, nada.

The new 7.01 update fixed all the isues.
