combo drive on new 867 broken

i think it is anyway. it will not work consistantly. when i put it a cd or dvd it ill not read it. and when i try to eject them the eject button comes up but nothing happens. it only spits the cd out as it is starting up or shutting down. this is kind of a bad thing because i wanted to watch my movies, since my g/f and everyone else is leaving me for the weekend.

    try to reinstall 10.2

    Faster way to check: Boot into OS 9.

    ill try os 9. heh, i forgot about that thing. i never use classic anymore. even under jagaur. if that doesnt work i guess i will reinstall. thanx
