I asked this earlier I think but I can't find the thread (Search isn't working? All I get is a white screen, I'm on broadband)

So is there a font limit/what is it in OS X? I have 3 or 4 thousand fonts (TrueType, OS 9) Also I don't need to convert them do I?

Thanks!

    I would use a font suitcase, like <a href="http://www.extensis.com/suitcase/"; target="_blank">Suitcase</a>

    There is no font limit.

You should probably get Suitcase, just because it could get difficult to handle all of those, but the OS will be fine.

Thanks for the replies! I couldn't get fonts in the font folder to work if the fonts themselves were inside a folder, on 10.1.4 Is this a known problem? Can fonts be in folders?
