G4 wont startup after power outage

This is not my G4, but, here is it anyway.



After an abrupt power outage, the G4/466 experienced startup problems. More specifically, no startup at all. There is no chime, no spinning hard drive sounds, absolutely nothing. The power light does turn on, but almost as soon as it's on, it turns off with the rest of the machine.

    looks like a fried MotherBoard. call AppleCare.

    i had a customer on the phone today with the exact same problem.

    Removing an installing the battery solved the problem
