Apps can't launch, other problems! (10.2.1)

Starting from yesterday, the following applications have started quitting on startup:



X3

iCal

Pod2Go

Various Installers



Additionally, Disk Copy seems to hang after mounting a .dmg file.



The last thing I installed was Skin a Dock, which I promptly disabled.



Any ideas?

    The first thing I would try to do is repair permissions. If that didn't work I would be confused. Try that and if nothing gets any better we'll see if anybody has any other ideas.

    Reinstall the OS.

    Actually, the Application Enhancer tool from unsanity (the "APE" files) is infamous for screwing up people's computers. I too have had problems caused by APE.



    unsanity completely denies that APE is responsible for any misbahaving, of course.
