Best for you may not be best for me. Will you be using it only locally in New Zealand or traveling? Always on highways/local roads or sometimes off the beaten path? Personal suggestion is to do a bit of reading at a GPS-centric site. One of the best is GPSReview.net (US-based) with PocketGPSWorld.com (a British site) a close second.
