Port Number used by PS2 to get online

Does anyone by chance know the port number used by the PS2 when connecting online?

I have tried to run a port scan but the PS2 doesn't respond.

I need the number since the PS2 is behind a firewall.

I think it says in the manual of the Network Adapter. I'll try and figure it out.

Try doing a search for the ps2linux site. they should have all the info about the ps2 and its hardware/software. Its a great thing that sony is letting devolpers create games for the ps2.

I found one website that said the port number was 5150 but that was only for one game. Is it possible that each online game might use a different port number?

The normal PS2 websites seem to be clueless about any advanced networking situations.

I set my ps2's router assigned ip as a "DMZ" (whatever that means, i think it opens all ports to that ip address) and it works fine.

DMZ does negate the point of a firewall, but it probably wont matter for a ps2...
