Audio recording device?
Hi,
we have a sony pc100 minidvcam that we use to record video for our college projects onto a mac for editing. the built in mic is cr*p and so we acquired a cheap rifle mic. the mic has an xlr connection but the sony camcorder has a minijack input for microphones. does anyone know of a box or converter that would allow us to plug one end (XLR) into the microphone and the other end (minijack) into the microphone input port of the camcorder?
i know its off topic but any help would be appreciated.
BTW we would need to be able to purchase such an item, from the uk only
