I am an absolute novice to this field. I am looking for a drive under $150 and is external. Got any ideas?

    If you really get hard up, maybe I'll look into it for you, but you need to put up more info. like usb/firewire, burn speed reqs. And why do you need an RW? I never burn over old cds. Is that the only thing they're offering?

    They're all CD-RWs, they don't make plain CD-Rs any more.
