somone is ****ing with my email address. monday when i read my email, there were 15 undeliverable emails aparently sent by me. today i opened my email and there were 94 and counting. does anyone know whats going on?
I've seen this with my own email. Usually it's a family friend who's been infected with the Klez virus. If you examine the recipients list see if you spot any family names that might isolate it to one person you know.
Otherwise it's likely a spammer who's been infected, and they don't give a flying fark about you or your email address.
it is the klez virus that is causing this, but it is not on my machine. here are the contents of one of the emails, maybe one of you can read it to see what is happening:

Sucks.
all of these emails appear to have been sent by me, its really pissing me off
hours, texts etc? what were in the messages?
text? some attachments?
did they contain klez or some weird .exes .piffs etc?
originating ip from where they were tried to send?
sometimes spammers send messages that seem to arrive from your address, those suck...

i have seen exe attachments, and have recieved responses from some saying that the email they bounced back to me contained the klez virus.
the other really odd thing is ive seen html attachments that were sites go to, such as the macnn forums.
I told her to change the password she uses on her provider, but that is about as far as I want to get in fixing it.
I mean, I love my Mom and all, but I feel so dirty playing with wondows afterwardds, I have to shower for hours just to feel clean again...
