iCloud file system

iCloud description of a non hierarchal filing system puzzles me.  How will we find a file we want?  Would we have to remember the exact name of every file in order to locate it?  


 


Neither 'Help' nor 'Spotlight' seem to work unless we know the exact name.  I have gotten dozens, even hundreds of hits in many cases, none of which is the one I'm looking for.  


 


Trying to find the answer online is frustrating. I'm told that it works like iOS or iTunes. Not having used either, I'm at sea.


 


Could someone explain how iCloud finds a specific file?
